About Stereolab
Stereolab are a British-French experimental pop group formed in London in 1990, led by Tim Gane and Laetitia Sadier. Their sound blends krautrock motorik rhythms, vintage analog keyboards, and bossa nova influences with droning guitars and Sadier's breathy, melodic vocals. Highly influential in the 1990s indie and lounge pop scenes, they pioneered the "post-rock" and "space age pop" aesthetics.
