About Tamikrest (signing)
Tamikrest are a Tuareg band from the Kidal region of Mali, formed in 2006. They blend traditional Tuareg desert blues with rock, reggae, and psychedelic influences, drawing comparisons to Tinariwen while addressing themes of Tuareg identity and struggle.
