The Afghan Whigs are an American rock band formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1986, led by vocalist Greg Dulli. Known for their dark, soul-influenced alternative rock, they blend grunge-era intensity with R&B grooves and confessional, often brooding lyrics. They reunited in 2012 after disbanding in 2001 and have continued releasing music.
