The Heliocentrics are a London-based collective led by drummer Malcolm Catto, known for blending psychedelic jazz, cosmic funk, and experimental electronics. Their dense, groove-driven sound draws heavily from 1970s library music, Afrobeat, and space age exotica. They have collaborated with artists such as Mulatu Astatke and Madlib.
