The Mountain Goats

The Mountain Goats is the project of singer-songwriter John Darnielle, known for intensely personal, literary lyrics delivered over sparse acoustic guitar arrangements. Formed in the early 1990s, the project evolved from lo-fi cassette recordings to fuller studio productions while retaining an intimate, confessional songwriting style.
