The Orb are a British electronic music group formed in London in 1988, led by Dr. Alex Paterson. Pioneers of ambient house, they blend deep, hypnotic textures with dance rhythms, found sounds, and psychedelic atmospheres. Their landmark album "The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld" (1991) helped define the genre.
