The Samples are an American folk-rock band formed in Boulder, Colorado in 1987, led by singer-songwriter Sean Kelly. Known for their melodic, reggae-tinged acoustic sound and introspective lyrics, they built a devoted following through relentless touring in the early 1990s college music scene.
