Tuxedo is a collaborative duo consisting of producers/musicians Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One, formed around 2014. Their sound draws heavily from 1980s boogie, funk, and soul, blending vintage synthesizers and drum machines with smooth, falsetto-driven vocals. They released their self-titled debut album in 2015 on Stones Throw Records.
