Twisted Sister is an American glam/heavy metal band formed in New Jersey in 1972, best known for their anthemic hard rock hits "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock." Led by the flamboyant Dee Snider, the band blended aggressive riffs with catchy, rebellious hooks and theatrical shock-rock presentation.
