About Vincent Mason
Vincent Mason, known as Maseo, is a founding member of the influential hip-hop trio De La Soul, formed in Amityville, New York in 1987. As the group's DJ, he contributed to their eclectic, sample-heavy sound that blended hip-hop with jazz, funk, and psychedelia, helping define the Native Tongues movement.
