Wicked Lester was an early 1970s New York rock band best known as the precursor to KISS. Featuring Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, the group recorded an unreleased album for Epic Records before dissolving and reforming as KISS in 1973. Their sound blended hard rock with glam and pop influences.
