About Winter McQuinn
Naarm/Melbourne songwriter, Winter McQuinn explores country and folk, imbued by psychedelia with a contemporary edge. His music ripples with free-ness similar to revered 1960s/70s artists such as Nick Drake and Syd Barrett, and contemporary artists such as Kate Bollinger, Tex Crick and Alex Izenberg. Most recently McQuinn shared his third and most ambitious album yet, Where Are We Now?, This album was described as his “most sophisticated record yet” and features collaborations with Way Dynamic, Hot Apple Band and more.
