About Yō-Yō
Yo-Yo is an American rapper from Compton, California, who emerged in the early 1990s as a prominent female voice in West Coast hip hop. Mentored by Ice Cube, she founded the Intelligent Black Women's Coalition and released albums like "Make Way for the Motherlode."
