Zen Mechanics

Zen Mechanics is the psychedelic trance project of Dutch producer and DJ Wouter Thomassen, a veteran of the global psytrance scene known for his deep, atmospheric grooves and boundary-pushing sound. Born in the Netherlands and now based around Byron Bay, Australia, he's been shaping psytrance since the early 2000s with a signature blend of driving basslines, cosmic textures, and expansive soundscapes. Best known for his Beatport chart-topping album Holy Cities and collaborations with Ace Ventura, Perfect Stranger and Sonic Species, he has released on top psy labels including Iboga, Nano, Aleph Zero, Iono and Neurobiotic.
