Zu is an Italian experimental trio formed in Rome in the late 1990s, known for their crushing blend of noise rock, jazz, and metal. The band — built around bass saxophone, bass guitar, and drums — creates dense, abrasive soundscapes that draw from free jazz, hardcore, and avant-garde music.
