Akron/Family were an American experimental band formed in Brooklyn in 2002, known for blending folk, psychedelia, and noise rock with communal vocal harmonies and improvisational freak-outs. They initially gained attention through collaborations with Angels of Light before releasing acclaimed albums under their own name.
