About Billy Childish & The Buff Medways
The Buff Medways was a garage rock/punk band formed in Chatham, Kent, by prolific musician, poet and painter Billy Childish in the early 2000s, following his earlier groups Thee Headcoats and The Milkshakes. Known for raw, lo-fi production and stripped-down rock and roll energy, the band released several albums before Childish moved on to other projects.
