Chris Helme is a British singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of 1990s Britpop/indie rock band The Seahorses. His warm, soulful voice and acoustic-driven songwriting carried the band's melodic rock sound. He has also pursued a solo career with a more stripped-back, folk-tinged acoustic style.
