Cro-Mags are a New York City hardcore punk band formed in 1981, known for blending aggressive hardcore with heavy metal riffs in a style called crossover thrash. Their debut album "The Age of Quarrel" (1986) is widely considered a landmark of the genre, influencing countless bands with its raw, punishing sound.
