About Crooks
Crooks is a conduit for immersive auditory journeys rooted in collaboration and respect for Indigenous culture. A portal - bridging ceremony and rave; earth and aether - That is both primal and futuristic. Each set creates a space where movement and spiritual connection converge. It is not about fusion but symbiosis - a mutual thriving. At its core, it is a reminder - That music, like the land, flourishes when all voices are heard and when we learn to move together in respect, rhythm and harmony. This project was born in the meeting of sky and earth. When a blue heron from a faraway land glided down to rest upon country, the ancient spirit of the land rose to greet it. One brought the long journey, the other carried the memory of endless time. Together, they listened — to sky, to soil, to silence — until a rhythm emerged that belongs to both and neither.
