DJ Hype is a British drum and bass DJ and MC, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the genre. Known for his energetic live performances and rapid-fire MCing style, he has been a key figure in the jungle and drum and bass scene since the early 1990s. He is associated with Torment and has released music on labels such as Pandemic Records.
