DJ Subaru is a UK-based DJ, producer and party promoter whose work is deeply rooted in the foundational values of club culture while embracing a distinctly contemporary, outsider spirit. A key figure in Leeds’ thriving underground scene, she holds a residency at Lovemuscle, one of northern England’s most vital queer club institutions, and runs her own forward-thinking party, Pleaseuremaxxx, at Hope House Gallery, home to the celebrated Cosmic Slop soundsystem. Bridging the rich cultural exchange between Leeds and Berlin, Subaru has become a beloved resident at PDA, made multiple appearances at Berghain, and has played alongside Palms Trax at the legendary Sound Metaphors Mayday celebration. Beyond the dancefloor, her creative output spans production, engineering and original music, including her Lots Of Love EP on CWPT and collaborations with Baby Mauritius as Babes in Love. With a raw, DIY ethos and an unwavering commitment to authentic expression, DJ Subaru stands as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary dance music culture.
