About Eegor

Richard Blacker aka EEGOR has held a passion for music since he was just 6 years old. From receiving classical training on the Violin, Viola, Guitar and Bass Guitar as well as studying music theory for 4 years in his primary school days, music has flowed through Eegor's mind, body and soul. With three decades experience as a DJ and working on his own productions since 2007 unleashing a string of releases worldwide, Eegor has established himself a solid reputation in Australia and abroad for his take on deep driving progressive techno. Whether it be day or night, at a Festival or in a Nightclub, Eegor has always curated his DJ sets and productions to compliment the environment that surrounds him at the time. Throughout his career Eegor has represented Open Records(Australia), Bus Records(France) and is currently a label DJ and producer for the iconic European label Iboga Tech Records(Denmark). Eegor has taken the stage numerous times at iconic Australian festivals such as Rainbow Serpent Festival, Elements Festival, Dragon Dreaming Festival, Subsonic Music Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Maitreya Festival and NYX Festival as well as appearances abroad at Paradise Festival (Austria) and Megaclub appearances at the ‘Pratersauna’ (Vienna, Austria), ‘Le Skandalo’ (Bordeaux, France) and ‘Elevate’ (India) just to name a few. His current project ‘Eegor & Zark’ with his good friend and producer Cameron Anlezark, has scored some solid releases on IbogaTech Records, Digital Structures, Stone Seed (aka Bassic Records), Alpaka Muzic, Frission Records and Soliq Records thus far with many more big releases to come in the not too distant future...
