About ESG
ESG is a South Bronx band formed in the late 1970s by the Scroggins sisters, known for their sparse, percussive, funk-punk minimalism. Their track "UFO" became one of the most sampled songs in hip-hop and dance music history, influencing post-punk and club culture alike.
