About Girlschool
Girlschool is a British all-female heavy metal band formed in London in 1978, emerging from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement. Known for their raw, hard-driving guitar riffs and energetic performances, they released influential albums such as "Demolition" (1980) and "Hit and Run" (1981). They famously collaborated with Motörhead on the "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" EP.
