Kittie is a Canadian all-female heavy metal band formed in London, Ontario in 1996, originally composed of sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander. Known for blending thrash, groove, and gothic metal elements, they gained prominence with their debut single "Brackish" and helped pave the way for women in heavy metal.
