Lisa May is an Indigenous Australian techno DJ and producer known for her dark, heavy, and uncompromising sound. With a career spanning two decades, she delivers powerful, flawless performances shaped by her technical precision and deep musical understanding. Originally grounded in vinyl, her disciplined style translates seamlessly into digital sets. In 2023, Lisa joined the residents at Eat The Beat, performing major support slots for some of the world’s biggest techno artists and appearing at internationally recognised events including Amsterdam Dance Event, Carl Cox’s PURE showcase, Sydney Mardi Gras’ main party, Revolver Upstairs, and Hardware’s Piknic. She has released three EPs on Volta Records, as well as music on Codex Recordings, FE Chrome, Reload Records, and Kaligo Records. Her productions are supported globally, making her one of Australia’s leading female forces in techno.
