Perchta is an Austrian folk black metal project fronted by Cäthe, named after the Alpine folklore figure. Their music blends raw, atmospheric black metal with traditional Alpine folk instrumentation and haunting, often ritualistic vocal performances. Their debut album "Leid" (2021) was critically praised for its dark, immersive sound.
