Radio Birdman is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1974, blending proto-punk and garage rock influences from the Stooges and MC5 with surf and detective-noir themes. Their 1977 debut "Radios Appear" became a landmark of Australian punk and helped shape the country's underground rock scene.
