Shellac was an American rock band formed in Chicago in 1992, led by guitarist and engineer Steve Albini alongside bassist Bob Weston and drummer Todd Trainer. Known for their minimalist, abrasive sound and meticulous production, they released albums like "At Action Park" and "1000 Hurts".
