Sinister is a Dutch death metal band formed in 1988 in Bergen op Zoom. Known for their brutal, aggressive sound rooted in old-school death metal, they have released numerous albums since their 1992 debut "Cross the Styx." They are considered pioneers of the European death metal scene.
