About Sarcofago

Sarcófago were a Brazilian extreme metal band formed in Belo Horizonte in 1985, widely regarded as pioneers of black and death metal in South America. Their 1987 debut album *I.N.R.I.* was massively influential, featuring raw, chaotic production, blasphemous imagery, and a ferocious blend of black and death metal that influenced the Norwegian black metal scene.
