Sir Charles Thompson was an American jazz pianist and organist, active from the 1940s onward, known for his swinging bebop and mainstream jazz style. He collaborated with Charlie Parker and Illinois Jacquet, and is credited with composing "Robbins' Nest," a jazz standard.
