The Gossip (later Gossip) is an American band fronted by powerhouse vocalist Beth Ditto, formed in Arkansas in the late 1990s. Known for their raw punk energy and dance-punk anthems, they broke through internationally with the 2006 hit "Standing in the Way of Control."
