About The Vapors
The Vapors were a British new wave band from Guildford, England, active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Best known for their 1980 hit "Turning Japanese," their sound blended punky energy with catchy pop hooks and choppy guitar riffs. They released two albums, New Clear Days (1980) and Magnets (1981), before disbanding.
