About The Young Gods
The Young Gods are a Swiss industrial rock band formed in Geneva in 1985, led by vocalist Franz Treichler. Pioneers of sampling-based music, they replaced traditional guitars with samplers, creating a dense, abrasive sound that blended industrial noise, metal, and electronic experimentation. Their influential approach helped shape the industrial rock genre in the late 1980s and 1990s.
