Acid Bath was a sludge/doom metal band from Houma, Louisiana, active from 1991 to 1997. Known for blending crushing heaviness with melodic, haunting passages, their sound drew from sludge metal, doom, and alternative influences. They released two acclaimed albums, "When the Kite String Pops" (1994) and "Paegan Terrorism Tactics" (1996).
