Eyehategod

Eyehategod is a New Orleans-based sludge metal band formed in 1988, known for blending slow, crushing Black Sabbath-influenced riffs with the abrasive noise of hardcore punk. Their music is characterized by down-tuned, feedback-drenched guitars, anguished vocals, and themes of addiction, suffering, and nihilism. They are widely regarded as pioneers of the sludge metal genre.
