Borknagar is a Norwegian progressive black metal band formed in 1995 by guitarist Øystein G. Brun. Known for blending black metal aggression with folk, progressive, and atmospheric elements, they have featured a rotating cast of renowned vocalists including ICS Vortex and Vintersorg.
