About Life of Agony

Life of Agony is a Brooklyn-based rock band formed in 1989, known for blending heavy metal, hardcore punk, and alternative rock. Their breakthrough album *River Runs Red* (1993) is a concept album dealing with themes of depression and suicide. Vocalist Mina Caputo's powerful, emotive delivery has been central to their distinctive sound.
