The Dillinger Escape Plan were an American mathcore band from Morris Plains, New Jersey, formed in 1997. Known for their chaotic, technically complex compositions blending extreme metal, hardcore punk, and jazz-influenced dissonance, they were fronted by Greg Puciato and disbanded in 2017 after a celebrated final tour.
