About The Format
The Format was an indie pop/rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2001 by Nate Ruess and Sam Means. Known for their energetic, hook-driven sound blending pop punk and power pop, they released two albums before disbanding in 2008. Ruess went on to form fun.
